This year 2018, Chakri Palace Pavilion has undergone a refurbishment with intricate Thai motives on each wall, purple and gold trimmings for a royal touch as well as two upgraded beautiful VIP rooms that can cater for up to 30 guests. As part of the celebration, Chakri Palace showcased a buffet spread of Thai cuisines and local favourite dishes especially for  Ramadhan 2018.

The theme for this year Ramadhan is the “Tantalizing Taste of Thailand” Ramadhan buffet promotion will be held at Imperial Chakri Palace KLCC and Chakri Palace Pavilion KL from 18th May 2018 onwards.

The dedicated team of Thai Chefs prepared a scrumptious spread of more than 50 modern and authentic Thai and local favorites dishes spread by the with selection of local ulam-ulam and Kerabu, such as Thai Mango Salad, Thai Papaya salad, famous thai appetizer with seven ingredients “Mieng Kam”, Samosa, Crispy Thai Spring Rolls, Thai Crispy Fried Noodles and many more.




For the main course, guests may indulge in Thai cuisine selections such as lamb in Thai green curry, Crispy Prawns With Butter Sauce, stir-fried squid with salted egg, Tomyam seafood, beef with black pepper sauce and fish with sweet & spicy sauce.



To honour this special time of year, a variety of Malaysian favourites were introduced, including Rendang Daging Tok, Masak Lemak Gulai Daging, Ayam Kapitan and Nasi Briyani.

Featured in live action stalls were the special Steamed Seabass with Lime and Chilli Sauce, Chicken and Beef Satay, Ikan Bakar and Tom Yam Noodles that will definitely leave you craving for more.

Thai mango sticky rice and also local favourites such as kuih-muih melayu, bubur jagung, pulut pisang and many other delicacies. The spread and variety were enough to satisfy anyone with a sweet tooth.

Chef Yatim who has over 20 years of experience working in local and international hotels, will be cooking up a storm of over 400 timeless dishes for 29 delicious days. Diners can anticipate an energetic ambience with enticing aromas filling the air as the restaurant is transformed into a vibrant Bazaar-style atmosphere for a true feast of the senses.

Taking centre stage are nine (9) main food categories which are the Nasi Station featuring 15 varieties of rice cooked in different styles including a must-try for the season – Bamboo Briyani, the Bakar Station where fresh meat and seafood will be grilled on the spot for diners, the Soup Station including the restaurant’s signature Soup Gearbox Turbo, the Golek Station featuring a whole Roasted Goat, the Noodle Station serving a wide variety of soup and gravy based noodles, the Kawah Station where super-large cauldrons containing rich and spicy Gulai awaits.

The Resort Café, located at the Lobby Level of Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa, will commence the special Ramadan buffet dinner nightly from 17 May to 14 June 2018, starting from 6.30pm to 10.30pm. The buffet is priced at a special promotional price at RM98 nett per adult from 17 until 23 May and 11 June to 14 June 2018; whereas the buffet is priced at its normal price at RM178 nett per adult, RM108 nett per senior citizen and RM98 nett per child (aged between 6 to 12 years old) from 24 May to 10 June 2018.

Once again, let the feast begin at Bangi Golf Resort (BGR) for Ramadhan Buffet 2018. Folks at Bangi Selangor can look forward to the delightful dishes that are panned out by the group of Chef at Bangi Golf Resort.

It is one of the most value for money buffet that offers more than 200 dishes ranging from traditional Malay, Western and Oriental cuisines. Prices start from as low as RM59.00 Nett for adults and RM29.50 for children.

Another favourite of the crowd from the Oriental section is the Hainanese Chicken Rice. The chicken is prepared to ensure the right point of doneness, giving a succulent texture to the breast meat that is used for this dish. Don't forget the garlic, ginger and chilli sauce that goes perfectly in harmony with the rice and chicken meat.
