Pancake House Malaysia @ Quill City Mall Kuala Lumpur - Not Just Pancakes

Recently we were invited to taste out some of the signature dishes at Pancake House Malaysia @ Quill City Mall Kuala Lumpur.

Pancake House Malaysia offers a welcoming and relaxing environment showcasing a cosy interior layout consisting of invitingly snug sofas and comfortable seats where customers will feel right at home.  Other items on the menu are appetising pasta, sandwiches and burgers, refreshing milkshakes and desserts as well as other popular Western dishes.

Pancake House Malaysia also offers the Best Taco in Town, using the freshest vegetables and served on the side is the tasty minced chicken in a crispy taco shell, which is the dish to start off our review today.



Followed by the Fiesta Taco Salad (RM17.70); Fresh garden greens, kidney beans, tomatoes are tossed and mix with a salad dressing topped with Tacos and sprinkles of grated Cheddar Cheese. Fans of Tacos will love this add on to the salad.




For soup, we had the  Mushroom Cappuccino Soup (RM6.55). This is a real challenge to us, When this soup arrives at our table, on first thought, it looks like a cup of coffee but when we took the first sip, it was a combination that uses the Cappuccino froth milk infused into the mushroom soup and sprinkle with cinnamon powder.

Next is the Club Sandwich (RM22.15). The sandwich is toasted and we like the combination of the spread and ingredient thta came with it. A filling meal all by itself.

To many including myself, there is a misconception that Pancake House Malaysia only serves pancakes. Actually, there are many other dishes which has its roots from the Philippines on their menu which include the Smoked Golden Tinapa (Smoked Golden Milk Fish) RM26.60. The smoked fish has been de-boned, making it easier to eat and it is served with Garlic Rice and Mango Salsa. You can taste the smokey fragrant with every bite of the fish meat.

while the second Main is the Classic Pan Chicken. We would have preferred the chicken to be Fried to a more crispy and crunchy feel. Love the garlic rice that came with the fried chicken.

For Pancakes, we had the Chocolate Marble Pancake (RM17.70 for 3 pancakes), The fluffy and soft texture of the pancake was perfectly done and it was nicely mixed with the right sweetness level of the chocolate syrup.

and followed by the Caramel Banana Walnut Pancake. Good combination with a nutty crunch of the walnut on the side. Pancakes House Malaysia is famed for serving the perfect recipe for fluffy, melt-in-the-mouth pancakes,.

To end our meal, we tried out the Affogato. Nice strong aroma of the espresso bundle with the Vanilla ice-cream.
