The restaurant is RESTORAN SISIK IKAN BAKAR which is located just opposite the famous GM Klang Wholesale City at 32, Jalan Kasuarina 1/KS7, Bandar Botanic, 41200 Klang, Selangor. The restaurant is formerly known as Resipi Warisan Tok which was serving authentic Malay Cuisine and is still serving these dishes.

RESTORAN SISIK IKAN BAKAR KLANG @ BANDAR BOTANIC | GM KLANG SELANGOR - Malay Style Seafood Galore
The owner who has a mixed bloodline from Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and Melaka have influenced the many ingredients, condiments and cooking style that are used in its dishes from the menu.
The restaurant operates in 2 daily sessions, the first which start from 8am until 430pm serving traditional authentic Malay dishes, while the second session from 5pm to 12.30am are specifically serving Malay style seafood dishes to caters for the customer tastebuds for seafood.
Among the many cooking styles and different seafood that you can choose from, you might be spoilt for choices. In that case, you might just want to order the pre-set menu dishes which are being offered by the restaurant. For many patrons, dishes such as the Ikan Bakar Berempah are the top favourite choice.
While fans of fermented durian can taste the unique taste of the Ikan Bakar Tempoyak style.
and for those that fancy, a more subtle taste can try out the Stim Hijau style with their favourite seafood.
A must-try dish at Restoran Sisik is their rendition of Sotong Bakar Madu. Using a special marinade and couple with a nice grilling, mixed with an inhouse made sauce, it is a perfect match to either the Nasi Putih or Nasi Lemak Buluh Perindu.

Another must-try dish is their Assam Pedas which has its origin recipes influence from Melaka (famous for its Assam Pedas style cooking). Customers can choose to have their Assam Pedas fix with the option of several types of seafood; among them are Siakap, Sotong Sumbat or Ikan Bawal. The Assam Pedas gravy is quite thick and again, it is one of those dishes that need a second or third helping of rice to goes with it.
We did mention earlier that the restaurant does serve Malaysian most popular dish i.e. Nasi Lemak, but here at Resoran Sisik Ikan Bakar; their rendition of Nasi Lemak which makes a perfect partner in crime with the Ikan Bakar and seafood is in the form that is served in bamboo and hence it is aptly named Nasi Lemak Buluh Perindu.
The restaurant also served steamboat for its customers with a Tomyam soup based.
