Mid Valley Food: The latest food outlet in Gardens Mall, Mid Valley is EATZ @ Hong Kong which is located at Lot LG-240, Lower Ground, Gardens Mall Mid Valley City, 59200 Kuala Lumpur.

EATZ @ Hong Kong highlights Hong Kong’s distinct tastes and palettes from as far back as the ‘50s, whilst also featuring the favoured eats of today so that diners may savour this journey in time through taste. During this time Hong Kong has a strong colonial influence towards the local food scenes. With this in mind, EATZ @ Hong Kong promises to bring back these unforgettable flavours to diners in Malaysia.

EATZ @ Hong Kong presents to diners; more than 100 classic Hong Kong specialities to indulge in whether it is for Breakfast, Lunch, Tea Time or Dinner, embarking on a gourmet journey of vibrant East-meets-West dishes, with Muslim-friendly ingredients. Helming the kitchen at Eatz@Hong Kong is Head Chef Kak Noor, which churns out fresh buns and toasts straight from the ovens.

“Everyone has their own interpretation of Hong Kong cuisine. Some say chicken chop or egg tarts and others may say Polo bun or cheese-baked rice and all of them would be right. This is because Hong Kong has witnessed an ever-evolving menu every decade with the earlier years somewhat replicating a British-style café,” says Ms Valerie Choo, Managing Director of Simply Awesome Sdn Bhd.

We had the opportunity to taste first hand a few of these Hong Kong popular dishes right here at the first Eatz@Hong Kong outlet, starting with the Cheese-Baked Chicken Cutlet With Rice (RM 22.80) - Golden crispy chicken cutlet with cheese-baked fried rice in your preferred sauce.



 Mini Abalone Dried Scallop With Egg White Fried Rice (RM 28.80) - Stir-fried rice coated with egg white, mixed with dry scallop and baby abalone.



Satay Beef Rice (RM 18.80) - Marinated beef brisket with in-house special satay sauces for a rich and hearty flavour, served with rice.



Curry Seafood Rice (RM 26.80) - Rice topped with seafood with EATZ special curry sauce.



 Smoked Duck In Pumpkin Rice (RM 19.80) - Smoked duck and seasonal vegetables cooked in pumpkin-infused soupy rice.



 Grilled Fish Fillet with Spaghetti (RM 22.80)



Spicy Fishballs Noodles (RM 15.80) -Nissin noodles served with spicy fishballs.



Australian Beef Striploin (RM 37.80) - A 180grams pan-grilled Australian beef striploin with sea salt served with French bean, broccoli, cauliflower and fries.



For some snack and small bites, you can try out the Swiss Sauce Chicken Wing (RM16.80)



 Polo Bun With Truffle Scramble Egg (RM 22.80) - A vibrant chorus of fluffy egg and black truffle Pate in a crispy butter-toasted Polo bun served with fries



Prawn Toast (RM 17.80) - Deep-fried prawns sitting on a toast, coated with extra crispy and crunchy breadcrumbs.



or Cheesy Balls (RM 15.80) - EATZ's version of chewy balls filled with cheese.



 Egg Tarts (RM 3.80) - Freshly baked sweet egg custard in a delicate crust.



While for some sweet dessert, you can try out their signature Souffle (RM 15.80) -  Light, fluffy baked dessert, made with egg yolks and beaten egg whites.
