While those that love a tinge of pastry like mooncakes; would love the flaky and crusty Deep Fried Teo Chew Yam Paste with Single Yolk.
For fans of the snow skin, an array of colourful snow skin selection with flavours such as Red Bean Paste and Pumpkin Seed, White Lotus Paste, Pandan Lotus Paste with Single Yolk, White Lotus Paste with Single Yolk will entice your tastebud.
Not forgetting the taste that Malaysian are familiar with; do try out the Durian Lotus Paste that will reminiscent of a very familiar flavour.
According to Chef Jordan Chin Chee Hong, Dim Sum Chef with more than two decades of culinary experience “A good mooncake will not stick to the teeth”. Having travelled to many Asian countries to taste their versions of mooncakes, Chin is adamant that Malaysia’s version is still the best.
This decadent treat is usually eaten in small wedges and generally served with Chinese tea. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, family members will savour it together or before the joyous occasion, it is given away as gifts to treasured relatives, friends and business associates as a way of fostering good relationships.
