The recurrent festive lights will adorn the main street of Persiaran Lagoon, making it an inviting sight for all in Sunway City. Stepping into the main lobby of Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa, guests will be greeted by life-size Nutcracker’s in the centrepiece depicting a fantastical playground surrounded by live poinsettias, coupled by brightly-lit and decorated Christmas trees, festive wreaths, garlands and other ornaments, capturing the whimsical spirit of the season. Over at Sunway Pyramid Hotel and Sunway Clio Hotel, guests can also expect the same warm festive feeling with the Christmas trees, decorations, linger sweet scents of conifer and Christmas tunes playing all day long in the background.

A delicious spread of dishes with a mix of traditional Christmas favourites, Asian inspired dishes and a variety of sugary treats will be served at The Resort Café to usher in the spirit of the season. This Christmas and New Year, the culinary team, led by the Hotel’s Executive Chef Peter Lee are all geared up to entice diners with their extensive menu of mouth-watering and sumptuous dishes to indulge in.
This year show-stopping centrepiece is the roasted meat section with three (3) types of Roasted Turkey, featuring traditional Roasted Turkey, Roasted Black Garlic Turkey and with an Indian twist, the succulent and flavourful Roasted Tandoori Briyani Turkey served with Basmati rice. An addition to the section is the melt like butter beef ribeye – the Char Grilled Tomahawk Steak and Roasted Whole Lamb Leg with Herbs.
The restaurants’ signature live kitchens will be enhanced with festive highlights such as the Beetroot Cured Salmon Gravlax, Honey Roasted Turkey Ham, Roasted Whole Duck with Apple Raisins and much more. Also to look forward to are the variety of home-made Pies with a selection of sumptuous Chicken and Seafood filling and on the dessert bar, the traditional Mincemeat Pie filled with a mixture of Dried Fruits and Spices.
For salad lovers, The Resort Café’s signature octagonal-shaped wrap-around Salad and Fruit Towers will be filled with a wide range of festive greens like Strawberry Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing, Baby Spinach Salad with Oranges, Grapes, Walnut and Cranberry, Pomegranate Quinoa Salad, Balsamic Beetroot Salad with Arugula and goat cheese and a Christmas Bow Tie Pasta Salad.
Diners with a sweet tooth will not be disappointed as the dessert bar will feature delectable selections such as the Christmas Pudding, Mixed Berry Cheesecake, Berries Panna Cotta, Panettone, Lemon Cream Puffs, Chocolate Roulade, Tiramisu, Peach Shortcake, Apricot Bread and Butter Pudding and a Chocolate Fountain with an assortment of condiments including Fruits and Marshmallows to create a festive atmosphere for a truly celebratory Christmas feast.
