Customers can choose either the Original Taste or the Spicy Taste of the beef broth. But here at ROD DEE DED, one of the special dishes, if you are a fan of Premium beef, is the SHOWER BEEF. This new way of eating beef will have the beef lovers craving for the right texture, firmness and succulent taste. The Australian Wagyu Beef with a choice selection of oyster blade cut 100g @ RM 31.80, Striploin 100g @ RM 42.80 and rib-eye cut 100g @ RM 48.80 hit the right note particularly for me. Thin slices of these speciality cut meat are bathed in the steaming hot broth to slowly cook this nice marbling beef meat. If you are a true blue beef fan and loves your meat cooked rare or medium-rare, 1 round of showering should do a fine job, while for those that love it cook can go for a 3 round shower. The end result, you get is a nice juicy texture beef with the tasted of the beef broth total immersed into the meat. You can order the sliced beef cut dishes ala-carte or with your Hot Pot meals.
Being a fan of HOT POT/ Steamboat I naturally fell for the offering of the HOT POT selection at ROD DEE DED. There is a choice of either going for a promotion HOT POT package or ala-carte for your individual item. Other popular ingredients that you can order from the ala-carte menu includes beancurd roll, meatballs, spinach, mushroom platter and more.
As mention, ROD DEE DED is popular with its Thai Noodles (from RM15.80 to RM26.80) offering with their beef broth either as the original RDD or the spicy version. Next, you can order your favourite part of the meat; which are braised beef brisket, beef slices, beef tendon and beef ball.
For those that love all the different meat ingredients can order its MUA (Thai for All) which means you get all the four type of ingredients while there are options to order it with 2 combinations or more. Above all, you can have it with a choice of your favourite noodles which is Rice Vermicelli (SEN MEE), Thai Kway Teow (SEN LEK), Ipoh Kway Teow (SEN YAI) and Egg Noodles (BAN ME).
For me, there is one dish, you might not want to miss to order at least for me, it is the Fried Chicken wings (RM9.80) which has a well-marinated taste with a nice crisp on the skin while retaining a juicy moist meat texture. I actually ordered another plate just for myself even though I was totally filled to the brim.
There are a number of other dishes that ROD DEE DED offers which includes the Green Chicken Curry @18.00. An order of this comes with a bowl of steaming white rice.
Or if you are a fan of Thai Red Curry; can opt for the Stewed Beef Red Curry (RM25.80)

IF you are a fan of stewed brisket, an order of the Stewed Brisket Claypot (RM25.80). The meat selection was perfect as it has a nice layer of fatty meat and was stewed for hours to the right texture and taste.
I am a fan of Kway Teow or anything that resemble it so an order for the Pad Kee Mao (RM16.80 -Chicken & RM18.80 - Beef) - Fried Kway Teow was in store for me and it did not disappoint us, as the nice "Wok Hei" without being overly oily was evident when the dish was served to us.
For dessert, we had the Pineapple with Passion Fruit Syrup (RM6.80) and Sea Coconut With Syrup (RM6.80). A freezing dessert as the fresh pineapple which is coated with syrup is frozen.
