In both the set, you will start off with the Lou Sang which is the Ryoshi Prosperity Yee Sang. A slight change that you will notice is that some of the condiments served in this Yee Sang has some Japanese twist added into it.
For starters, you will be served the Buta Bara, - grilled pork belly on skewers.
Next on, is the sashimi platter i.e Ryoshi Sashimi Mori which consists of a Salmon, Salmon Belly, Hamachi, Tako (Octopus), Ebi and Hotate.
This is then followed with a Dragon Maki which is a Grilled Big Head Prawn, and is wrapped in a maki and served with a special sauce. The presentation is indeed special as it resembles the dragon head and henceforth the naming of this dish.
For the fish, we had the Saba Teriyaki - a Saba Mackerel deboned fillet that is grilled with teriyaki sauce.
While for the fried item, combination tempura such as tempura prawns, vegetables, enoki can be found in the Tempura Mori platter accompanied by the dipping sauce.
Next on the tables from the set menu is the Karaage Tofu.
The final dish from the set is a hot pot i.e.Tororo Nabe which is served with Udon to fill up your stomach if you still have some room. The Hot Pot comes with a soyu based clear broth with a generous serving of vegetables, meat and mushroom. Served piping hot, it is a tummy-warming end to the meal.
Ryoshi Izakaya Signature has also a introduced a couple of new dish to its array of dish from the menu. Here we got a taste of the Buta Shabu Salad - which is a pork belly salad with a sesame sauce.
The other new dish is the Ryoshi Buta Don which is a bowl of rice served with pork that is grilled in teriyaki sauce accompanied by bouncy runny eggs that are used to mix with the rice. A portion of seaweed is also served to give another texture to the rice dish.
The last item is the Negi Bacon, it is a skewers dish which has a Negi wrapped with a strip of bacon and grilled to a nice finish. Perfect, with a glass of cold beer or sake.
