Instead of having seafood and ingredient delivered to the hotel by suppliers, the team of chef lead by Executive Chef Salsabil at Furama Bukit Bintang take a step further to visit numerous wet market and wholesale market near and far to purchase the selected fresh seafood especially for this seafood buffet.

You can catch up with the Chef’s journey from the time of the purchase right up to the preparation of the Seafood Mania Buffet which is documented and shared across Furama Bukit Bintang’s social media @furama_bukit_bintang).



Items such as white squid,



prawns,



stingray,



clams and more are selected and purchased on the spot to be brought back and flamed grilled BBQ just for you.



Besides seafood, meat lovers are not to be forgotten as the spread also includes a variety of meat such as chicken, lamb, sausages and beef.



Guests can rest assured that they will dine on freshly cooked food as the ingredients are grilled only after the guests have selected their choices albeit a little waiting time for it to be cooked.



What makes this BBQ hitting right to our taste-buds, is the Chef emphasis to serve the BBQ ala-Malaysian style which uses marinades such as the sambal and some Chef own concocted sauce recipes, unlike other BBQ Buffet which tends to skew towards western-style marinades.



While waiting for the seafood and meat to be grilled, guests can help themselves to the variety of appetizers and salad, soup, fried rice, vegetables,



local fruits,



and dessert such western cakes and pastry, chilled beverages and hot beverages to complement your BBQ buffet.

The BBQ seafood buffet is priced at RM65+ per person and is served on every Friday and Saturday at Spices @ Furama Bukit Bintang which is located on level 3 next to the swimming pool.
