BUFFET RAMADHAN 2020 SHAH ALAM: Grand BlueWave Hotel Shah Alam (GBWHSA) once again ushering in the Holy Month, Ramadan with impressive buffet spread for iftar which includes over 100 local and international cuisines together with 16 stalls. This year, Ramadan Buffet at Royale Songket Restaurant, GBWHSA features the theme, “House of Smoke and Grill”.
This extravagant iftar feast is specially crafted by Executive Chef, Chef Mohd Shahril Bin Abu Rahim that offers a variety of main dishes choice based on the local Malaysian selection which menu will be rotated on a daily basis.

Among the local dishes are White Rice, Steamed Buttered Pilaf Rice, Steamed Buttered Lentil Rice, Steamed Buttered Rice, Lebanese Chicken & Char-Grilled Vegetable, Oven Roasted Chicken with Wild Mushroom Sauce, Sambal Tumis Udang with Petai, Beef Rendang Tok, Pizza, Udang Masak Kelio, Gulai Ikan Ala Kampung and many more to expect!
In addition, there will be International Selection dishes which consists of Assortment Garden Salad, Tuna Salad, Grilled Chicken Salad, Tabbouleh Salad, Coleslaw, Classic Macaroni Salad, choices of Dressings and Seafood on Ice; Mussel, Prawn, Crab.
Guests can also have a go at Local Selection such as Ulam-ulam with 6 types of Sambal Belacan, Cincaluk, Budu, Kicap Cili Padi, Air Assam and 4 types of Raita, Jeruk Buah-Buahan, Assorted crackers, Lemang, Ketupat, Nasi Impit with Kuah Kacang & Serunding Ayam, Kerabu Ayam, Kacang Botol, Jantung Pisang, and Kacang Panjang & Som Tham.
To offer its guests with more festivities, guests can taste the delights from 16 stalls with different concepts which is only available for the iftar feast are the “Must Try Nasi Kandar”, “Ramadhan House of Smoke & Grill”, “Wagon from Texas”, “Wok with Me”, “The Asian Fritters”, “The Penang Street”, “Oriental Favourite”, “Something Sweet”, “Sahara Tent”, “Seafood on the Grill”, “Oishii!!!”, “Noodle Galore”, “Little India”, “The Hot Pot”, “Italian Memories” and “Bazar Favourite”.
The main highlight of the Ramadan Buffet this year is definitely the “House of Smoke and Grill” stall which is the main concept of the Ramadan Buffet. At the stall, guests can expect to get a taste of our specially made Smoke Hickory Roasted Whole Lamb with Grilled Vegetable, Black Pepper, Rosemary, Mushroom and Mint Sauce.
Other crowd favourite is none other than Nasi Kandar with an assortment of dishes namely the Daging Masak Hitam Mamak, Ayam Goreng Berempah Madu, Kari Ikan Berbendi, Dhalca Sayur, Kobis Koot, Acar Buah, Acar Timun and Massala Papadom.
There are also other show stations with live cooking which comes with a variety of other cuisines. The line-up includes Burgers, Mee Goreng Mamak, Yong Tau Foo with Sotong Kangkong, Hainanese Chicken Rice, ABC, Arabic Rice, Chicken Mandy, Ikan Merah Panggang, Japanese food such as Sushi, Maki, Terriyaki, many types of Laksa, Chicken Murtabak, Roti Bom, Roti Jala, Northen Chicken Soup, Bubur Lambuk, Pastas, Roti John and many more to expect.
Another selection to look forward when breaking fast after a long day is the choices of beverages. There are two stations of beverages available which are Hot Beverages and Chilled Beverages. Don’t forget to try the varieties of beverages such as Kopi O Kampung, Penang Teh Tarik, Nescafe Tarik, Soya Bean, Sugarcane, Bandung Cincau, Sweet Corn, Mango, Blue Lime Soda, Ice Chocolate and Flavored Clear Ice Water.
Besides the sumptuous buffet spread, the guest must not miss trying the heavenly desserts. The pastry team has prepared an array of desserts which includes Serawa, Bubur Pulut Hitam, Bubur Gandum Pandan Gula Anau, Bubur Cha Cha bersama Keladi, Assorted pastries and cakes, Assorted Dates, Tropical Fresh Cut Fruits, Selection of Malay Kueh and Dodol, Assorted Jelly and Agar-Agar, Pudding, Sago Gula Melaka and Chilled Honey Dew with Pearl Sago.
This Ramadan Al-Kareem Buffet “House of Smoke & Grill” is available daily from 7.00pm to 10.00pm from 24th April 2020 to 23rd May 2020. Priced at RM148.00nett per person for adults and RM 70.00nett per children and senior citizen. For Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday, the price is RM150.00nett for 1 adult and 1 child.
There will be special discounts for early bird bookings and payment must be made before 1st Ramadan (24th April 2020) when guests dine in during 1st Ramadan until 10th Ramadan (24th April until 3rd May 2020), priced at RM74.00nett for adults and RM70.00nett for children and senior citizen.
As an appreciation to their valued guests, GBWHSA has also launched the Buy 10 Free 1 promotion where when the guests buy for 10 Ramadan Buffet vouchers and they will get 1 free Ramadan Buffet vouchers. More interestingly, those who buy 15 Ramadan Buffet vouchers are entitled to get 1 accommodation vouchers in Deluxe Room for 2 days 1 night.
For a private event, GBWHSA also caters for iftar events in the function hall.
