Komune Living and Wellness is an integrated co-living and wellness center in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, in the heart of a 99 hectare tropical public park. Key aspects of the development, which aims to provide a better way to revitalize, rejuvenate and live, include a wellness center, co-living hotel and senior care facilities that cater to people from all walks of life.
We recently had the opportunity to experience the 26 hours staycation promotion where we can enjoy more of the facilities on offer at the hotel. We find our self surrounded by the beauty of nature, a wellness ecosystem, retail and dining options all at our convenience.
Komune Living and Wellness (KLW) - The prefect weekend 26 hours KL city centre getaway staycation
The rooms were relatively similar to those seen in most other hotels and were fairly well equipped with the standard hotel amenities.
We were offered a room with a view of the vast Taman Permaisuri public park, which overlooks Bandar Tun Razak township.
As a co-living hotel, there is a community kitchen where you may prepare meals and consume them on the vast grounds.
The hotel management has scheduled a number of activities. The particular Chinese Calligraphy class was one that we participated in and enjoyed during our weekend stay. Every week, the guests can choose from a variety of classes and activities. It was a very enriching opportunity to learn about the history of Chinese calligraphy and to participate in a hands-on workshop.
Following that, we went to try out some of the gym facilities to perform some basic exercises at the gym
while guests can have a dip in the swimming pool located next to the gym area.
After dinner, we went to the private KTV rooms which we have booked earlier to sing a few songs, while the others could booked a games room to play cards or mahjong.
We went swimming in the heated pool early the next morning, which was quite pleasant and enjoyable because there was no cold shock. Following that, we went to the jacuzzi which was located next to the heated swimming pool, which was also set to a comfortable temperature to rejuvenate our tired muscle.
After swimming, we proceeded to the Lucky Lucky Food Store on the lower ground floor for breakfast. There were numerous eateries serving western, oriental, and local breakfast.
While we were enjoying our coffee and breakfast, we noticed a group of elderly adults performing Tai Chi exercises in front of the food court. Hotel guests are welcome to participate in these events as well.
We took a leisurely walk around the park after breakfast to take in the beauty of nature. We can see a number of bird species that have made this park their home. The ponds are also filled with a variety of fishes, and you can see quite a few people feeding them.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our short weekend staycation and found it to be quite pleasant and relaxing.
You can check out their latest promotion From RM140+ per night, enjoy their 26 hours Staycation Promotion inclusive of FREE Breakfast and access to all their guest recreational facilities. This offer is valid until 31 Dec 2022 and details at https://bit.ly/HongInKLW
