Dim Sum Paradise: All You Can Eat Buffet at Zuan Yuan Restaurant PJ - RM78Nett
We had the opportunity to sample some of these delicious treats from the variety of selections. We always like to start off our dim sum meals with a steamed dim sum selection, such as Steamed Signature Siew Mai With Flying Fish Roe.
Next, we had Steamed Prawn Dumplings,
Steamed Teochew Siew Mai,
Steamed Beancurd Roll With Japanese Miso Sauce,
Steamed Malay Fluffy Cake With Melon Seed,
and lastly Glutinous Rice and Wild Rice With Smoked Duck,
For the appetizer selection, we started with the Curry Fish Ball,
followed by Crispy Salmon Skin With Salted Egg Yolk Sauce With Chicken Floss,
They were 2 soups that we can choose from, I had the Braised Crab Meat and Dried Seafood Broth, while my son had the sourish spicy Braised Hot and Sour Seafood Broth.
We then proceeded with the BBQ selection with an order of Roast Chicken
And Roast Duck
For each round, we ordered the garden green selection Hong Kong Choy Sum, Kai Lan, and Brocolli which is fried with garlic.
Moving to the next section is the Baked and Fried selection, the first of the few dishes is a Stir-Fried Turnip Cake
& Deep Fried Crispy Fish Cake With Spring Onion.
Under the porridge/congee selection, the fish fillet congee was just right for me, the fish meat was firm and blended well with the porridge and I just can't miss ordering a second helping.
While the Slice of Beef congee was also up to the mark, with a nice smooth bite texture.
The last selection with be noodles and fried rice. We ordered the Wok Fried Kway Teow With SlicedBeef, Ginger, Spring Onion, and Egg Sauce.
While the Fried Rice came with diced seafood and was topped with Crispy Anchovies.
The Zuan Yuan Restaurant dim sum buffet offers 4 desserts, and we tasted 3 of them, the first of which is Chilled Herbal Jelly With Honey, Chilled Soy Bean With Snow Fungus, and Chilled Lemongrass Jelly With Aloe Vera.
