As mention in my earlier posts; there are only 3 main things about Hot Pot/ Steamboat dining. The first is the soup based, followed by the sauces and the last one is the quality or freshness of the ingredients.

FEI FAN HOT POT Pork Bone Soup and the Spicy Ma La (Sichuan) Soup.

Fei Fan HotPot offers 4 soup based for its customers to choose from starting with the most popular one which is the Pork Bone Soup and the Spicy Ma La (Sichuan) Soup for those that loves the throat tickling sensation.

FEI FAN HOT POT Tomato Soup and Pepper Pig's Stomach Soup

The other 2 soup base that you can order is the Tomato Soup and Pepper Pig's Stomach Soup. All the soup are using the same base which is the Pork Bone Soup; what is the differences; is the added ingredients to the different soup for its flavours.

At Fei Fan HotPot; upon entering the restaurant, you will be greeted with a comfortable and clean atmosphere for your dining experience.  Fei Fan Hot Pot offers both an ala-carte buffet item  (which you can order) and buffet counter items.

The reason being they want to serve this premium item as fresh as possible; so that it would not be exposed to room temperature for far too long and secondly it is also to reduce wastages. GUANGXI CHINA, officially known as the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is famous for its rivers, caves and karst formations. To promote tourism in this region, the Guangxi Autonomous Region Tourism Development Commission recently organised a Guangxi Tourism Promotion event at The Vertical at Bangsar South City.

Guangxi’s location and ethnic diversity make it an appealing travel destination in which you can enjoy remarkable natural scenery such as the legendary Guilin, indulge in coastal pleasures at Beihai Silver Beach, explore the sights of the Sino-Vietnam border area (such as Detian Waterfall). Other places of scenic attraction include the Li River, Leye Geopark, Weizhou Island and Mingshi Scenic Area.

while some relish on the Sea Duck Eggs which is popular in Beihai, Qinzhou and Fangchenggang. Fishermen here allow their ducks to roam freely on the beaches where the ducks will feed themselves with small fishes and shrimps. It is said that the duck eggs contained a variety of vitamins and proteins.

or the River Snail Rice Noodles; one of the speciality dishes in Liuzhou Guangxi with a spicy sourish taste with its broth that uses the river snails as its main ingredient earning the name for this noodle.

and the popular Liu Pao Tea which goes thru a time-consuming centuries-old tradition which, includes screening, shaping, stems picking, cold fermentation, drying, steaming on, and cool set aging process.

Visitors to the tourism promotion event also had a chance to witness the remarkable Guangxi traditional folk music and dance performances. These were said to beautifully depict the charm of Guangxi's customs, its mysterious ancient cultures and the appeal of this autonomous region which is steeped in history.

The event also incorporated an interesting use of technology and fashion aesthetics. The whole event was livened up through mobile live broadcasts, interactive activities and attractive prizes.

Besides showcasing the beauty of the people, its landscape and the customs and culture of Guangxi, the event is also intended to build a stronger bond between Malaysia and Guangxi's tourism industry and create a potential exchange of resources in the near future.
