HotPot Kitchen How To Order Review

There is only 2 section to choose from. First, you pick up a stainless bowl and head towards the vegetable section.

HotPot Kitchen Vegetables section

here are wide varieties to choose from starting with the green leafy vegetables like spinach, ladies fingers, cabbages and so forth.

HotPot Kitchen Vegetables section

or the other vegetable section which includes the smooth tofu, fungus, mushroom, bean curd and many more.

HotPot Kitchen Vegetables Menu Prices

All the vegetables are priced at RM3.99 per 100gm.

HotPot Kitchen Meat Selection

Using a different meat bowl, you then select your meat ingredients like the Chicken meat, beef slices or the different type of meatballs.

HotPot Kitchen Meat Selection - Pork Innards

or for me, my favourite is the pork innards like the intestine (which the Chef will fry to a crisp), pork stomach and so forth. It does really blend with the spicy option. All the meat are priced at RM5.99 per 100 gram.

HotPot Kitchen Meat Selection - Premium Ingredients

Finally, you can also choose some premium add-on which includes fish fillet and brown squid.

After your selection of Vegetables and Meat, you move to the counter where the cashier will weigh your selected ingredients. You can also have an add-on of instant noodles to your dish.

HotPot Kitchen - Unique Platter Taste

The next step is to order your flavours which only has 4 flavours which are the Unique Platter (Non-Spicy option) and the Spicy Option (with 3 level of spiciness namely - Spicy Fragrant, Spicy Dynamic and Spicy Xtreme).

HotPot Kitchen - Spicy Fragrant Taste

For me, I am just good with Level 1 Spicy Fragrant level. If you accidentally bite into the Sichuan peppercorns, there is a unique numbing effect on your tongue, I suppose this is one of the reasons why so many people yearn for these HotPot dishes is to experience this effect.

HotPot Kitchen - Drinks Selection

You can order your drinks at this point. Upon confirming your orders you will be given an electronic buzzer that will buzz when your food is ready.

Once in a while, when you crave for some Hot and spicy dish, can head over to the HotPot Kitchen for your douses of Ma Lat (Hot Pot) cravings.

HotPot Kitchen - Quality Products and Freshness

One of the key point at HotPot Kitchen is that all steps are taken to ensure that the foodstuffs & ingredients are selected for its finest quality and freshness and goes thru a sterilization process.

HotPot Kitchen Menu - Ma Lat Chicken Wings

At HotPot Kitchen, many do not realize that they have an ala carte menu where you can order the Ma Lat Chicken Wings.

HotPot Kitchen Menu - Arasi La La

or the Arasi La La which has its own distinctly spicy taste.

HotPot Kitchen Menu - Free Coffee

Don't forget at HotPot Kitchen coffee is Complimentary; it is said that drinking coffee after a HotPot meals serves to relieve the spiciness level in your mouth.

“We see the Japanese hotpot concept of Shabu-Shabu and Sukiyaki as a symbol of kinship and togetherness. “Malaysia is a haven for anyone who loves to discover and enjoy all types of good food. Yet, we find many Malaysian foodies who often misinterpret the different styles of Japanese hotpot. The idea is to educate fellow Malaysian food hunters on the distinct styles of Shabu-Shabu and Sukiyaki, as well as to provide an authentic Japanese experience, without the hefty plane ticket prices to Japan!”

This Japanese hotpot dish consists of thinly sliced meat and vegetables that are boiled in water. Cooked piece by piece, the food is cooked by the diner at the table!

Beef Selection For Shabu Shabu

An onomatopoeic term, Shabu-Shabu refers to the sound emitted when the ingredients are stirred in the cooking pot before it is served with dipping sauces.

Similar to Shabu-Shabu, Sukiyaki also cooks thinly sliced meat and vegetables before serving with a dipping sauce.

What makes it different is the method of cooking, as well as the distinctive broth and dipping sauce. With Sukiyaki, you put all vegetables and meat together in a pot of simmering broth. The broth has a rich flavour, made of salty-sweet soy-based seasoning.
