This Ramadhan Pullman KLCC is launching a brand new, all day dining restaurant – Sedap Restaurant; drawing inspiration from the Malaysian phrase 'Sedap' which means 'delightful', the restaurant offers you an unrivalled hub to taste various culinary pleasures.

From 17 May 2018 to 14 June 2018 the hotels’ chefs are proud to present over 200 authentic and fusion local delights such as cured quail in turmeric coconut paste, Pahang style braised codfish, pralines – chocolate-coated date and dodol coated with caramelised nuts, all-time favourite; lamb cooked in 38 different styles – just like how the local’s do it. Exclusively for the holy month!

Featuring the finest buffet spread in town, Sedap Restaurant is ready for this year’s Ramadhan, highlighting notable, not-to-be-missed Malaysian favourites. It takes dining to a whole new level with over 200 varieties of ‘Buka Puasa' dishes. In addition, Sedap Restaurant  KLCC Pullman is also preparing a full buffet setup for Sahur, which will be available from 4:30am to 5:30am daily, serving healthy salads, pastries, cereal as well as local dishes.

Pullman KLCC’s buffet dinner will be available daily from 6:30pm to 9:30pm from 17 May to 14 June 2018 and priced at RM168 per adult and RM84 per child aged below 12 years old. For guests who prefer to host their own private “Buka Puasa” get together, or corporate event, the hotel is offering a selection of menus starting from RM150 per person for a minimum of 50 people. Ramadhan Buffet Kuala Lumpur 2018 Chakri Palace Pavilion and KLCC Kuala Lumpur

This year 2018, Chakri Palace Pavilion has undergone a refurbishment with intricate Thai motives on each wall, purple and gold trimmings for a royal touch as well as two upgraded beautiful VIP rooms that can cater for up to 30 guests. As part of the celebration, Chakri Palace showcased a buffet spread of Thai cuisines and local favourite dishes especially for  Ramadhan 2018.

The theme for this year Ramadhan is the “Tantalizing Taste of Thailand” Ramadhan buffet promotion will be held at Imperial Chakri Palace KLCC and Chakri Palace Pavilion KL from 18th May 2018 onwards.

Thai Fried Mee Hoon

The dedicated team of Thai Chefs prepared a scrumptious spread of more than 50 modern and authentic Thai and local favorites dishes spread by the with selection of local ulam-ulam and Kerabu, such as Thai Mango Salad, Thai Papaya salad, famous thai appetizer with seven ingredients “Mieng Kam”, Samosa, Crispy Thai Spring Rolls, Thai Crispy Fried Noodles and many more.

Crispy Prawns With Butter Sauce

For the main course, guests may indulge in Thai cuisine selections such as lamb in Thai green curry, Crispy Prawns With Butter Sauce, stir-fried squid with salted egg, Tomyam seafood, beef with black pepper sauce and fish with sweet & spicy sauce.

Rendang Daging

To honour this special time of year, a variety of Malaysian favourites were introduced, including Rendang Daging Tok, Masak Lemak Gulai Daging, Ayam Kapitan and Nasi Briyani.

Somersby Cider’s Giant Apples Unveil #MagicMoments Campaign

12,000 FREE bottles to be given away across Klang Valley, Penang and Johor!

The secret of the two larger-than-life apples with countdown timers at the main entrance of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and at LG2 of Sunway Pyramid (near Ice Rink) finally unveiled and it transformed into a booth when the clock hit 12 noon today! Somersby, the best-selling cider in Malaysia once again surprised the cider lovers by giving away 4,000 bottles at these two locations in conjunction with the launch of #MagicMoments campaign.

Consumers at Pavilion KL were caught by surprise when picnic goers sitting on a picnic mat with friends, apple pickers plucking apples from the tree while some were reading newspaper – as if in a garden which swiftly assembled to perform a flash mob. This led to the launch of #MagicMoments campaign. We are all searching for things that make us happy and yet simple little pleasures that bring us the greatest joy can be easily overlooked. The new Somersby #MagicMoments campaign is to inspire our consumers to take a break and enjoy life’s little pleasures with the refreshing and fruity taste of Somersby Cider made from sun-ripened apples.

2015 Chinese New Year of Wood Goat Set Menu at Din Tai Fung Pavilion Review

During Chinese New Year, normally we would be feasting on some of the heavy dishes, but here at Din Tai Fung, you can sample some small eats item while celebrating this Year of the Golden Goat.

Best Restaurant To Eat was invited for this Chinese New Year Special at Din Tai Fung Pavilion located at Lot 6.01.05, Level 6 Pavilion Bukit Bintang.

As usual what is Chinese New Year if you do not have the “Loh Sang” or “Yee Sang”.

The version that is served at all Din Tai Fung is the Three Treasure; the first treasure is of course the Abalone, followed by the smoked salmon and then the jelly fish.

At Din Tai Fung, they choose to topped the carrot as high as possible to signal for the patron that every step to the top meets with success.

After that we were treated to some small eat dishes which are fame at Din Tai Fung, one of which is the Shaoshing Wine Marinated Chicken.

followed by the Stewed Wheat Gluten. 

and then the famed Din Tai Fung House Special.

Next, we were served the hearty and tummy warming HOUSE STEAMED CHICKEN SOUP. 

This soup was served hot and although it looks very clear, the taste was very fulfilling and hearty especially during the festivity when one indulges on too many other snacks and oily food.

Another one of the food which is a must eat at Din Tai Fung; of course is the Siew Long Pao which we had the Crab Roe and Pork Xiao Long Bao.

and the Steamed Fish Dumpling.

The next dish is the Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk.

The prawns which was battered; was very springy, fresh and was heavily coated with the salted eggs; making every bite an indeed pleasure to eat.

For vegetables, we were served the stir fried seasonal vegetable Pea Sprout with garlic. A simple and straight forward way to cook vegetables.

For those that love pork, you can also have a try on the Fried Pork Chop. You can order this ala-carte or with Fried Rice, which we had the last time.

Next, we had the Shrimp Fried Rice.

and followed by 2 desserts; the first of which is the Sesame Dumpling in Red Bean Soup.

and the last dessert was the Boiled Papaya With Snow Fungus.
