Ramadan 2017 Buffet Putrajaya The Zest Marriott Putrajaya Hotel

Discover Ramadan traditions through a whole new unique experience at the Zest Lifestyle Restaurant from 29 May – 24 June 2017.

A quintessential transformation takes place as we bring you down memory lane of the 1980’s era of Kampung Baharu and Jalan Chow Kit whereby these traditional landmarks of Kuala Lumpur are famous for their colourful evening streets bazaars, especially during the Ramadhan month.

In line with the theme “Warna-Warna Ramadhan”, our award winning culinary team prepares a lavish spread of traditional and speciality buffet dishes with stall concept as well as interactive live cooking stations.

On top of the huge spread, our ‘traditional’ ‘Dusun Buah”’ or Orchard offering Durian, Rambutan and other local fruits are one of the main attractions. The Buka Puasa scene at the hotel depicts the chaotic and excitement of the bazaar bustles with ‘traders’ and ‘people’ looking for a great meal.

Inspired by the proverbial invitation and expression “Jemput Makan”, diners are invited to immerse themselves into the bustling energy of The Resort Café, and be enticed by the interactivity, aromas and flavours of the nostalgic and traditional dishes from Malaysia and around the region; expansively displayed on the restaurant’s 60-meter long centre-island-buffet exhibition kitchen.

This year, alongside the many perennial dishes, the brigade of chefs led by The Resort Café’s Chef De Cuisine Parthiban Nalliah and a team of 20 speciality chefs are introducing a melting pot of timeless and generational recipes to entice and rekindle the palate.
