AB Mauri Malaysia Launches “Rise with Mauri” Alongside 20 Single-Mother Entrepreneurs

AB Mauri Malaysia launched its “Rise with Mauri” campaign on 27 August 2026, bringing together 20 single-mother entrepreneurs from the B40 community for a hands-on baking masterclass in collaboration with Ibupreneur.

Held at the Pusat Kreatif Kanak-kanak Tuanku Bainun in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, the initiative is built around AB Mauri Malaysia’s belief that providing bakers and food entrepreneurs with the right knowledge, tools and support can give them a stronger foundation to grow their businesses.

20 Women, One Kitchen and a Baking Masterclass

As part of the launch, the 20 women entrepreneurs took part in a practical baking masterclass led by AB Mauri Malaysia’s technical experts. The session gave participants hands-on experience with a range of baking techniques and products, including trending Shio Pan, artisan crusty sourdough, cake decorating and piping.

Beyond baking techniques, the masterclass also covered product development and process standardisation. These areas were included as important building blocks for entrepreneurs looking to develop their baking skills into sustainable businesses.

The masterclass allowed participants to learn, experiment, and create while gaining practical exposure to different aspects of bakery production.
