Ramadan Buffet 2015 Bazaar Desa at The Square Restaurant Novotel Hotel KL City Centre


If you are in the central business district Kuala Lumpur especially Pavilion or KLCC, you can Berbuka Puasa this Ramadan at The Square Restaurant Novotel Hotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre 2, Jalan Kia Peng 50450 Kuala Lumpur.


Theme as Bazaar Desa, it is an exquisite buffet spread from June 20 to 15 July 2015. The buffet spread has 3 different menu on a rotation basis with over 100 traditional Malay dishes is spearheaded by Executive Chef Huzaidy and its team.


Bazaar Desa is chosen as the theme to reminisce the local fare normally found during the Holy Month in Malaysia Pasar Ramadan. 


For starters and appetizers there are ulam kampung, kerabu or KangKung Sotong to start your meal.


while soup offering includes the Chicken Tom Yam, Mamak Mutton Soup and Bubur Lambuk


or try out the Pasembor and Gado Gado Selection.


Among the key highlight main dishes are Oven Roasted Lamb


Lontong Goreng


Spicy Tomato Beef (Daging Masak Merah)


Lamb Varuval


Squid Rendang


Assam Pedas Fish


 Lemon Grass Chicken and etc.


There is also live cooking station which serves Chicken and Beef Satay


While the Grill Station there are assorted grills seafood i.e grilled prawns, 


grilled squid, 


and grilled fish.


Over on the Noodles corner, we have the Mee Rebus Tulang, Prawn Mee and Assam Laksa (these selection will be change on a daily basis)


For the desserts there are a selection of puddings


fresh local cut fruits


and a selection of Malay Kuih Muih

Berbuka Puasa Bangi Selangor - Ramadan Buffet 2015 at Bangi Golf Resort

Best Restaurant to Eat was invited for a special review Ramadan Buffet called the Signature Ramadan Buffet 2015 at Bangi Golf Resort Restaurant located at No 1 Persiaran Bandar, Bandar Baru Bangi 43650 Selangor.


HALAL certified by Jakim, Bangi Golf Resort or better known as BGR is one of the very few golf resorts in Malaysia to receive this accreditation. Well loved for its variety and quality, BGR's Buffet Ramadan offers a sumptuous spread of up to 200 selections!


This Ramadan Buffet is from 21st of June 2015 till the 15th of July 2015 and is priced at a very low price which start at RM 55 for adults and RM 27 for children. The buffet spread features popular Malay, Western and Oriental cuisine favourites.


Among some of the popular delights is the Kambing Bakar (Lamb Slow-Roasted on the Spit)


This 2015, the kitchen team has also created an array of dishes that will tantalize your taste buds. Guests can look forward to the Cooking Showcase, where the highlight is the Kambing Bakar


followed by the strong spice aroma of the Sup Kambing Mamak (Indian style Mutton Stew).

Buka Puasa at Putrajaya Ramadan Buffet at Palm Cafe Palm Garden Hotel Review By Best Restaurant


Menjamu selera Berbuka Puasa di Putrajaya. Best Restaurant To Eat first hand review of the Ramadan Buffet at Palm Cafe at Palm Garden Hotel, IOI Resort, Putrajaya, Selangor.


There are many restaurant that offers Ramadan Buffet during the Puasa month for muslim community. Palm Cafe offers a wide variety of food besides the traditional Malay cuisine. The theme for this year Ramadan at Palm Cafe is "RAMADAN WARISAN BUFFET"


Executive Sous Chef Sim Hoong Sam and his team goes the extra mile to bring you flavours from Malaysia’s different ethnic cultures and traditions such as Ikan Sembilang Salai Masak Lemak, Cili Padi, Assam Pedas Squid with Ladies Fingers, Kam Heong Bamboo Clams, Udang Goreng Kandar, Roti Canai and Murtabak just to name a few.


Customers are spoilt for choices from the variety of food offering which includes Roast Lamb with spices and herbs, Kawah with Kari Kepala Ikan, Satay and more will be available on a daily basis.


Main courses are balanced out with a variety of appetizers, ulam-ulam and complemented with the delightful dessert counter.

Pulut Durian
The dessert counter features Ice cream, Malay Kuih, Pulut Durian, Tapai, Sago Gula Melaka, Bread Pudding and more.


As there were just too many food offering; my top pick for Palm Cafe for this Ramadan review are as follows:


Kawah with Kari Kepala Ikan- simply tasteful with full spice flavour and best eaten with white rice, roti boom and/or roti telor (available at one of the store). The fish used here is the Red Snapper.


Next is the Roast Lamb which you can eat with the Nasi Briyani, or Naan Bread.


followed by Kam Heong Bamboo Clams


and the Assam Pedas Squid with Ladies Fingers


 Udang Goreng Kandar



and lastly the Laksa Sarawak which the laksa broth was very flavourful.


and local fruits to wash down all the sumptuous feast that we had.


While dining, be entertained by the talented Mahligai Ghazal band belting out traditional and modern numbers.

There aren't many restaurant that are able to cook to the original taste of the food as it should be; this is the part where Palm Cafe have my brownies point for the quality and taste of the food serve.
