What happens when a paddy field becomes a giant canvas? At MAHA 2026, JATI has turned one of Malaysia’s most important agricultural crops into a remarkable piece of living art, earning a place in the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) for the country’s Largest Paddy Art Formation.
Named Natural Waves of Malaysia, the artwork measures an impressive 119ft by 126ft, with the JATI logo alone measuring approximately 58.42ft by 19.07ft. What makes the achievement particularly special is that the artwork was created entirely from living paddy, without paint, dye or synthetic materials. Different stages of paddy growth were carefully used to create natural variations in colour and contrast, forming a large heart shape together with the JATI brand name across the field.
