SUP GEAR BOX: Back by popular demand, gear box soup (sup gear box in Malay language) is one of the mouth-watering and popular dish in Malaysia. The bone marrow soup is made by boiling with onions and other rich spices for more than 12 hours to soften the flesh and cartilage. It is served in large quantity and the soup is nearly as creamy as stew. It is said that the knee joint of a bull provides the best gear box shape and contains a generous succulent taste just by sucking out using a fat straw. You will enjoy until the last sip! It is usually served with steam rice or bread.

DAGING TETEL GULAI KAWAH: Gulai always have a special place in Malaysian culture especially during special occasions like weddings or festive season. UDANG GALAH ASAM LEMAK: Even the name sounds so appetising! ‘Asam Pedas’ is a traditional Malay cuisine, and it is originated from Melaka. The sour taste traditionally derived from the sour tamarind (boiled until soft and squeezed into a juice). The spicy taste usually comes from the use of fresh chili peppers. These two simple ingredients are a match made in heaven! With the addition of fresh river water prawns cooked with the ‘asam pedas’, certainly this dish is to die for.

KARI KEPALA IKAN: All-time favourite Malaysian mouth quenching dish! This is definitely the most sought-after dish across all Malaysians. Commonly found at many Indian Muslim eateries like “mamak”, this generous dish consists of flavourful ingredients such as turmeric, coriander, black pepper, ginger and many more. What makes it delicious is when the flavourful gravy sips through the fish head meat. The commonly type of fish being used is red snapper or garoupa and it is served with hot steamed white rice. With every bite, it definitely hits the spot!

At Thyme Out Café located at Level G of Bangunan AICB, will commence ‘Selera Ibunda’ buka puasa buffet dinner nightly from 14th April to 9th May 2021, starting from 6.30pm to 10.00pm. Early bird is priced at RM98 nett per adult from 31st March until 12th April 2021; whereas the buffet normal price is at RM115 nett per adult and RM57 nett per child (aged between 6 to 12 years old).

GROUP DINING/ PRIVATE EVENTS

For group gatherings of 50 persons or more, ACE Conference Centre exclusively offers variety selection of buka puasa buffet menus for those interested in organising either private or social events during this season. Private events can be organised at our pillar less function rooms. Buffet menus are priced according to the buffet selections.
