Tung Yuen Chinese Restaurant at Level 1 Grand BlueWave Hotel Shah Alam has prepared an auspicious set menu and Poon Choy to welcome the arrival of this joyful Chinese New Year 2020 with sumptuous delicacies throughout January 2020 until February 2020. It is specially prepared by their Chinese cuisines specialized chef which is led by Chef Patrick Ng.

CHINESE NEW YEAR SET MENU 2020 @ GRAND BLUEWAVE HOTEL SHAH ALAM - TUNG YUEN CHINESE RESTAURANT
Chinese New Year dining is never complete without the tossing of Yee Sang. It is the traditional dish that symbolizes good luck, health, and prosperity. Therefore, Auspicious Yee Sang Selection is necessary to have while dining here.
There are three types of Yee Sang that can be chosen from the ala-carte menu which is the Yee Sang with Sliced Abalone and Salmon Fish, Crispy Fish Skin, Yee Sang with Salmon Fish and Crispy Fish Skin and also Vegetarian Yee Sang. The pricing starts from RM40.00+.
The Chinese New Year Set that is introduced for this Chinese New Year is Auspicious Good Luck Set Menu at RM1288+. The eight-course menu includes Yee Sang with Salmon Fish and Crispy Fish Skin.
For the soup, you will be served with the Double Boiled Chicken Soup with Madagascar Coconut and Black Garlic. A healthy and delicious soup that cools your body with the use of the Black Garlic
Next, we had the Crispy Boneless Chicken with Roast Sesame Paste. The boneless chicken is battered and deep-fried to a nice crunchy texture and is accompanied with a sesame dipping sauce that is served at the side.
While for the prawns' dish, we were served with the Fried White Shell Prawn with Mayonaise and Crispy Fried.
The fish dish that is served here is the Steam Red Garoupa with Black Ear Fungus and Premium Oyster Sauce. This cooking style is quite flavourful and the flaky thick fish meat was a delight and perfectly matched with the sauce.
The vegetable dish is the Braised Black Mushroom, Baby Abalone and Fish Maw with Broccolli. Each diner can have an individual abalone and the top grade fish maw has a nice tender yet firm texture that we like.
To fill up your stomach, the set comes with a slight twist which is the Black Pepper Fried Rice with Chicken.
And for dessert, you will be served the Chilled Sea Coconut with Sea-Bird Nest (Seaweed Jelly) and Lemon.
Apart from that, our customers can feast together with family members during this meaningful festive by choosing our Deluxe Prosperity Treasure Pot Package – Prosperity Deluxe “Lo Hei Poon Choy” Special.
